Salam to all,
Indeed marriage is a turning point in both the genders life... one should be careful in choosing a spouse because most of the accidents occur at the turning point Very Happy

Islam is a religion which deals with each and every aspect of Human life.. its a complete code of life.. Islam has assigned a criteria for choosing a spouse.. its: compatibility in faith, in morality in education and genes...
Now the gene thing has to b cleared: suppose for a syed there are two proposals one is syed and the other is non syed and both are equal in the above criteria then preference wud b given to syed.. but if the non syed is better than the syed in the above criteria then preference should be given to the non syed over syed... as far as the other criteria are concerned they explain themselves by their names, i mean both of them should b living a totally islamic life, both of them should b equally moral and "BATAHZEEB" and both of them should b equal in education especially both should have adequate religious knowledge particularaly in religious financial affairs.... I hope that clears every thing Very Happy

Well answering mr.ykazmis question: Indeed it is a tragedy that marriage, an event of pure souls have been turned into a show room of ones status(as said by admin) Sad

!!! It is not at all necessary that one should exravagate in doing marriage infact it should be done in the most simple way as prescribed by islam and as shown by prophet of islam(pbuh&hp) in doing the marriage of the prince and princess of the entire universe..!! our (shia) marriages should be performed in a way that Imam e Asr(as) himself attends it! we all want the whole Ahle bait Alihisalam

to attend our majalis then why not every function of our life...!
